As a long -time insurance industry professional, Suzanne Whitney brings a rich diversity of experience to her current position as FJG's Marketing Director. Her previous work in Group Health Insurance, including the fast-growing HSA segment, and with FJG's multiple value-added programs involved a high level of interaction with clients. It was here that she gained a truly in-depth understanding of what FJG clients seek and what the firm could do to most effectively meet their needs."I think we have a great combination of talent at FJG to meet client needs. Our staff are smart, caring people with the capability and know-how to help our clients navigate through their insurance and financial needs. In turn, we attract and retain as our clients, smart and caring individuals and businesses that make a difference when it comes to offering benefits for their employees. In the newly-developed position of Marketing Director, Suzanne sees evidence of FJG's determination to continue to develop and expand on the excellence in client service that has long been the company's touchstone. Her focus areas include:
- Increase understanding in the business community about FJG's activities and services through high quality educational programs, workshops and informational meetings
- Making clients aware of how FJG's ancillary and value-added products can improve their specific professional situation
- Research and development of new services and initiatives that will broaden the scope of FJG's service offerings, assuring the company remains at the forefront of the industry
- Maintaining and promoting a superior level of client satisfaction through personal communication and company evaluation surveys
- Creation of a multidisciplinary firm-wide marketing and education program designed to further the ability of all FJG personnel to effectively support client needs
With her husband Stuart, and his two children, Meredith and Sam, Suzanne resides in Waterbury Center. Like many at FJG, Suzanne enjoys an active lifestyle that includes hiking, winter sports, biking,kayaking and music."There is something about living in Vermont that helps simplify life, it keeps you grounded to the important things that matter. That is what I try to understand with my family, co-workers at FJG and our clients."
