Mitch Fleischer knows what he thinks about the best way to make a business successful. "Always be honest, treat the client the way you want to be treated and service the hell out of them." He honed that philosophy during his nearly 30 years in the insurance and employee benefit industry and believes that it has served him well.
Specializing in the design and implementation of Life Insurance for Estate Planning, Key Person Executive Plans, Buy/Sell Agreements and Disability Insurance, Mitch works with attorneys and accountants to develop plans closely targeted on meeting the needs of his clients."Design and implementation of financial and insurance plans is a very important aspect of what we do, but equally important is keeping our clients up to date with the most current information as it pertains to their initial plan design."
He is also very active in the HSA high deductible health plan market, overseeing the sale and installation of more than 500 HSA plans during the last three years. Mitch believes employee education is key to a company's implementation of an HSA plan and he therefore ensures it's a vital component of the plans FJG provides for clients.
Long an advocate for health care reform, Mitch has been actively seeking better solutions to the significant health challenges in Vermont since 1990. He's worked closely with Vermont's Banking, Insurance, Securities and Health Care Administration ( BISHCA ) and with the Governor and other legislative leaders to bring about effective change. "Healthcare in Vermont rests on an ever-changing platform. We have been very active in Montpelier for over 20 years and will continue to help push an agenda that will help level off the increases we are seeing in premiums and help to secure coverage for all Vermonters."
Mitch lives in Richmond, Vermont with his wife, Kim, son Jack and daughter Ellie. He skis, bikes or runs daily. " I have always found that athletics forces a certain discipline upon one's life. If we are to deliver to our clients the highest of quality products accompanied by a gold standard in service, we need this kind of discipline."
