FJG Race to the Top of Vermont, August 29, 2010

We think the event was a great success again, in our second year as the title sponsor.

The Third Annual FJG Race to the Top of Vermont turned out to be another succesful fundraiser for the Catamount Trail Association, the Mobius Mentoring Movement and new this year, Girls Move Mountains.

The event raised $46,000 for the Catamount Trail Association.This money will be used to protect the remaining 85 miles of unprotected Catamount Trail. The Mobius Mentoring Movement and Girls Move Mountains received over $19,500 together for their organizations. For Mobius, the money will be used to continue the culture of mentoring in Vermont while Girls Move Mountains will continue their mission of nurturing girls' innate capacity for confidence, courage, and leadership through adventure-based experiential education.

This year's event attracted approximately 700 participants from 24 states and Canadian provinces.

As the title sponsor of the event, FJG had a great time helping out with the event, sending volunteers to work the registration table, the water station, taking photos and guiding racers to the finish line. A special thanks to our volunteers!
