 Overview

The State of Vermont launched Catamount Health Insurance on October 1, 2007. Catamount Health Insurance offers several health plan options to applicants offered by  MVP Health Care or Blue Cross Blue Shield of Vermont.The cost of the  Catamount Health plan is based on the applicant's gross monthly income.

Green Mountain Care is the outreach organization created by the State of Vermont to assist the public with questions regarding eligibility requirements and the application process for many of Vermont's health care programs: Catamount Health, Dr. Dynasaur, Vermont Health Access Plan (VHAP), and Medicaid.
